It is the goal of CEHA to publish an informative and interesting Bulletin for all our members. The Editorial Committee is seeking articles, papers, stories, etc. for the 2008 CEHA Bulletins. Our goal is to publish Bulletins that contain the following assortment of articles, papers, and information.

Feature Length Articles and Papers: Goal for each Bulletin - Four papers/articles - 2000 to 2500 words in length.

We are seeking papers and articles that cover all areas of Environmental Health. Students are especially encouraged to submit research papers or other papers for publication.

Short articles and Special Additions : Goal for each Bulletin - One or two articles � 500 -1500 words in length.

Some topics may be covered in fewer words. We encourage members to submit shorter articles. If it only takes 500 words (about ½ page in the Bulletin) to alert members to a situation, report on an interesting finding or activity, etc. then please feel free to submit a short report or article. You will get published, and your efforts will help make the Bulletin informative and interesting.

Hot Topic Articles/Environmental Health in Action Stories: Goal for each Bulletin - One or two articles - 1000 to 2000 words in length.

There are always topics that seem to be on the front burner for many environmental health specialists and jurisdictions. This type of article can alert other jurisdictions about something that is happening is a specific area, and offers an opportunity to tell others about the excellent work being done by individuals. It would be wonderful if each jurisdiction could write a story about what is happening in their area. Such stories are very inspiring, for both seasoned environmental health specialists, and for environmental health specialists beginning a career.

The Puzzle: Professor Sandi Donohue has agreed to do a puzzle for each Bulletin.

Keeping Members Informed: Columns help to keep members informed. Eventually members will become accustomed to getting information from the CEHA web site. For now, however, the President's Message, NEHA Report, CCDEH Column, International Report, REHS Program, etc. help knit members from our diversified geographical areas and programs together to keep us informed, and make us a stronger organization.
