How to Get Foreign Education Reviewed

The California Department of Health Services Registration Program is unable to evaluate foreign transcripts for course equivalency. Therefore, in addition to submitting applications and fees, you will need to forward your official transcripts to a commercial credential evaluation service. Below are listed the credential evaluation services of which we are aware. They all operate on a fee basis based on the extent of the education to be evaluated. You should request that they forward to the appropriate office a letter stating whether or not your degree includes lecture and laboratory courses in general chemistry, general physics or organic chemistry, general biology, general microbiology, and a calculus or college algebra course (third-year algebra). This letter from the credential evaluation service should state if these courses have been completed and if they include a laboratory.
