Southwest Chapter Meeting

Our next chapter meeting will be Thursday, June 17th at 11:30 a.m. at the Sizzler restaurant. Our chapter will be presenting the awards for the Science Fair winners. Greater San Diego Science Fair

The California Environmental Health Association Southwest Chapter and the County of San Diego, Department of Environmental Health have partnered for more than 20 years to participate in the Professional Society division at the Greater San Diego Science & Engineering Fair. Together we provide judges, interview students, review their Environmental Health projects, and select winners in each of the Junior and Senior Divisions. The winning students, together with their parents or teachers, are treated to lunch at regular CEHA chapter meeting. Students often bring their ‘story boards’ and give a brief overview of their projects at the CEHA lunch award presentation. 

Southwest Chapter Commercial Swimming Pool Seminar 2009

The Southwest Chapter in cooperation with County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health hosted a one-day training opportunity targeted at the commercial pool operator. The theme was "An Ounce of Prevention Means Gallons of Fun".
