CEHA Training Video Series (available to May 7, 2023)!Attention: Any mailed RCRA forms received after December 14, 2022, may not be processed until after January 5, 2023 (emailed RCRA forms cannot be accepted). Do not wait if you need your CECH certificate to renew you REHS certification. As a Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) for the State of California, you are required to obtain 24 hours of continuing education to maintain your REHS credential. CEHA is providing a Video Training Series for all CEHA members in good standing. By viewing the videos, you can earn up to 8 continuing education contact hours (CECH). As a CEHA member in good standing, the cost is $10.00 (certificate processing and recording fee). Note, additional processing fees will apply for submitting additional RCRA forms (see #4 below). It is recommended that you submit only one RCRA form listing all the videos you watched to avoid additional costs.
All information presented in these videos will provide general educational information and/or a different view of the many disciplines in Environmental Health. The videos do not necessarily contain advanced or current technical information but does meet the minimum qualification for continuing education contact hours.
The CEHA Training Video Series will be available up to May 7, 2023. All evaluations, RCRA form and $10 processing fee must be mailed in (see indicated address) on or before that date. The 2021 CEHA Training Video Series is only available to CEHA members in good standing. If you are not a member, click on Membership to join or renew. For the cost of a CEHA membership ($65) and a $10 processing fee, you won’t find a better deal to obtain 8 CECH!

To earn Continuing Educational Contact Hours (CECH) for the California REHS complete the following: 1. To watch the video, click on the link below the video training title. You can also copy and paste the URL link to your web browser. 2. Watch the video. Note there may be multiple videos to watch to earn 1 CECH (minimum 50 minutes) for each titled video session (in bold). Sorry about the ads. Just click on skip when the icon is available. 3. Print out and complete an Evaluation Form for each video training session that you watched. Do not double side print (I have to scan your evaluations afterwards for recording purposes). 4. Print out and complete the Recordation and Certificate Request Application (RCRA). Be sure to sign the attesting statement for each video session that you have watched (yes, this is redundant). Again, submit only one RCRA form with all the video session that you watched to avoid having to pay another $10.00 processing fee. 5. Mail all completed evaluation(s) for the video sessions you watched, the completed RCRA form and a check made out to CEHA for the amount of $10.00 for processing fee for your certificate to the indicated address. 6. Allow up to 30 days for processing your request. If you need CECH for your REHS renewal, it won't happen if you mail it to me on December 31! 7. Do not email the completed forms.
